Tom’s promised me that tomorrow we can make a fort and watch The Thing
Inside these sealed glass balls live shrimp, algae, and bacteria, all swimming around in filtered seawater. Put it somewhere with some light, and this little ecosystem will chug along happily for years, no feeding or cleaning necessary

Anonymous said: How have you been the last few? My first few days home from treatment were killer I almost died from not having someone telling me when to do everything and not having someone shoving meds down my throat was strange..but I was in treatment for like months versus your week.. Did your stay do anything for you?
My first day and a half weren’t that great because like you say, it’s weird suddenly being back in “control” of something you ultimately have no control over. Plus I’ve been advised to basically stay in bed for a bit until I gain some weight, which is super boring and I get self-destructive and stupid when I get bored.
But yesterday was a lot better, I feel like my anxiety meds are kicking in a bit and making me less frantic and desperate to hurt myself and I have nice plans for the next few days until my next appointment so hopefully. Hopefully things are looking up.
